Salina Tile Glue is a cement-based tile adhesive in the UAE for suitable ceramic wall and floor tiles. Also known as Salina Tile Adhesive, it is suitable for interior and exterior applications and is formulated to provide excellent adhesion, water resistance, long open time and slip resistance. Available in Grey and White, Salina Tile Glue is supplied in 20 kg bags for professional tiling applications.

Exterior Applications
Choosing the correct tile adhesive is important for achieving reliable tile installation. Salina Tile Glue is suitable for interior and exterior applications, making it appropriate for a range of construction and renovation environments.
Before application, the substrate should be clean and free from loose particles, mould oil and other contaminants. The surface should be moistened with clean water and allowed to evaporate completely before applying the adhesive.

Suitable for Wide Range of Tiling Applications
Prepare Surface
Ensure surface is clean, free from loose particles and moisten with clean water. Allow to evaporate.
Mixing
Mix 20 kg with approx. 5 liters of clean water. Mix thoroughly and allow to stand for 5-10 mins
Apply
Apply 3–5 mm thickness with notched trowel
Fix the Tile
Press the after leveling. Ensure complete contact with adhesive.
Grouting
Leave for at least 24 hours before grouting (preferably 2 days). Use Salina Tile Grout.

Is Salina Tile Adhesive suitable for wall and floor tiles?
Yes. Salina Tile Adhesive is formulated for both ceramic wall tiles and floor tiles, and is suitable for interior and exterior applications including decorative stone cladding, marble and swimming pool tiles.
How much water do I mix with a 20 kg bag?
Mix a 20 kg bag with approximately 5 litres of clean water, around 25% by weight. Mix thoroughly and allow the mix to stand for 5 to 10 minutes before applying.
What thickness should Salina Tile Adhesive be applied at?
Apply at 3 to 5 mm thickness using a notched trowel, combing through at a consistent angle to leave even ridges before bedding the tile.
What is the difference between the white and grey grades?
Both grades are cement based waterproof adhesive mortars with the same performance. Grey is the standard grade for ceramic and porcelain tiling, while white is used where a light coloured bed matters, such as marble and translucent tiles.
How long should I wait before grouting?
Leave the installation for at least 24 hours before grouting, preferably 2 days. Use Salina Tile Grout to finish the joints.
Which standards does Salina Tile Adhesive comply with?
Salina Tile Adhesive is manufactured in accordance with British specifications and complies with BS EN 12004, Type C and ANSI A 118.1. Shelf life is 12 months from the manufacturing date.
